Breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day. It provides you with the energy to get your day started right, and a good breakfast improves anyone’s morale. We enjoy going out for breakfast, and Hendersonville, TN, has restaurants for all tastes. These are a few of our favorite breakfast places in town.

Music City Diner

Music City has been a part of our city fabric for over 40 years. In that time, it’s always delivered its promises of providing the freshest local ingredients. Sausage, bacon, eggs, and all other ingredients are sourced locally. The diner is locally owned and operated, and it’s lively atmosphere and friendly service ensure it remains a firm favorite.

Their menu encompasses popular items like breakfast skillets, omelets, waffles, and pancakes. A bonus is that breakfast is served all day. Our favorite is their turtle pecan waffles, with toasted pecans, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, and caramel drizzle. Music City can be found at 102 Glen Oak Boulevard, Suite 210, Hendersonville, and they’re open Monday to Saturday from 7 am.

Cafe 393 on Main

This charming cafe at 393 E Main Street, Hendersonville, is owned and operated by a dynamic mother-and-daughter team. Their emphasis on home-cooked food and a warm, inviting atmosphere has made this cafe a staple for many locals. Its decor is bright and cheerful, and even though it has seating for 80 people, its popularity means it’s advisable to visit early to get a great seat.

The menu has choices for every palate, from healthy yogurt parfait to steak and eggs for the larger appetite. Their omelet station offers ten different fillings and a choice of cheeses and bread. Lox on a bagel is available, and so too are less traditional breakfast items like salads and hamburgers. Cafe 393 is open Tuesday to Sunday from 7 am.

Red Rooster Cafe

Red Rooster opened in 2011 to produce good, traditional Southern breakfast foods. They feature four different omelet options, breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, and a choice of biscuits with sausage, ham, or bacon. In addition, they have pancakes, French toast, and the Red Rooster special breakfast.

Our particular favorite is their signature Red Rooster breakfast with three eggs of any style accompanied by chopped steak, sausage, bacon, country-fried steak, or ham. Sides available include grits, home fries, hash browns, or biscuits and gravy. Whichever options you choose, you’re guaranteed good food in a friendly, relaxed environment. Red Rooster can be found at 801 West Main Street, Hendersonville.
