The lakes hold a variety of fish species, including largemouth and rock bass, bluegill, redear and green sunfish, carp, crappie, flathead catfish, bullhead, warmouth, and sunfish. The legal limits for bass and catfish are five, and the minimum length is 15 inches. The minimum limit for crappie is 30 with no minimum size. There is no limit or minimum length on bluegill. The boat dock on Lake Placid is open on Memorial Day through the first weekend in August and only on weekends to October 16. The park rents fishing boats at the boat dock throughout the year, even when the boat dock is closed. The Chickasaw State Park Visitor Center and the office are at 20 Cabin Lane in Henderson. 2.
